Many people are surprised when they see a Pearlmaster for the first time because its design is so confusing, if we rely on the dial we could think that it is a simple Datejust but its bracelet is very different, it is the atypical bracelet of the Pearlmaster and has nothing to do with the usual straps of the brand. Like the Datejust, the Pearlmaster comes in several diameters, we are here on the most interesting diameter, namely a 39mm diameter. This is the historical diameter of the Royal OAK, until the arrival of the 41mm diameters a few years ago, but it is for us the ideal diameter, the perfect compromise between the men/women’s diameters, this is the best example of a unisex watch. This Pearlmaster of 2020 has a superb bezel set with a gradation of 48 baguette sapphires going from blue to green, the rendering is just sublime. This watch is not produced anymore in this version and its value does not cease to appreciate, for a yellow gold watch with a sapphire bezel the price remains relatively reasonable compared to the current market. Back in the days the retail price was around 70 000€, it's rare today to see a Rolex watch at a lower price than the retail but it's not necessarily a bad thing, far from it, the watch is simply under-priced at the moment and the price will continue to rise without any doubt...
