The first Submariner was released in 1953, so in 2003 Rolex presented for the first time the 50th anniversary model: the Submariner Anniversary/Kermit or the "flat four" for the first versions between 2003 and 2004. The model was produced until 2009. In 2010 it is replaced by the Submariner "Hulk" which has the new case, the new bracelet and the new movement of the Submariner, it still has a green bezel but this time it is in ceramic and the dial is green not black (as it was previously). The watch was a real success and remained in production until 2020. Rolex then presented the new Submariner models which this time are no longer in 40mm but in 41mm; the replacement of the Submariner “Hulk” is now called the Submariner "Starbucks". Since then, the Hulk's price has been rising and today we think it's better to "overpay" for a watch that is no longer in production than for one that has a waiting list...
